Nanotechnology based insulation and corrosion control coatings
Nansulate® liquid insulation coatings are used worldwide to insulate equipment and buildings. Easy, sprayable application make it the perfect insulation and corrosion control solution for valves, joints and other difficult to insulate areas.

Insulate valves and joints easily |
Nansulate® Coatings offer multiple benefits for protection of assets.
In addition to superior thermal insulation, they offer:
- Mold and Mildew Resistance
- Protection from CUI (corrosion under insulation)
- Ability to insulate valves and other difficult to insulate areas
- Chemical Resistance (EPX)
- Ease of application, no special permits or equipment needed
- For temperature ranges of -40F up to 400F
- Can be applied by in-house maintenance crews with zero to minimal downtime
- Reduce surface temperatures to ‘safe touch’ and improve working environment
- Helps companies meet sustainability goals, saving energy, reducing emissions, and protecting plant workers and assets
- Low installation costs - Reduced burden rate (typical labor cost for installation is $1.50 per S.F. as compared to typical installation cost for fiberglass/rockwool with cladding at approximately $10.00 per S.F.)

EMPLOYEE SAFETY - REDUCE BURN INJURIES
Nansulate® liquid insulation is an effective method for reducing injuy rates and associated lot time. The coatings are easily applied to reduce the temperatures of hot equipment and surfaces to "safe touch" temperatures.
The Temperature Gradient Chart below shows approximate surface temperature reduction achieved per each coat of Nansulate® to the substrate. Each coat represents a film thickness of 50 microns (2 mils) in Dry Film Thickness (DFT). You must measure your DFT to ensure you have the required thickness represented for each coat. Additional coats can be added to achieve safe touch temperature. Application of the coatings to hot surfaces can be done while equipment is in service using a Hot Misting Technique which is described in the Nansulate® Application Instructions.
