High Performance, Fast Cure, Water-based Epoxy System for Insulation, Chemical, Flame and Corrosion Resistance

Grey, textured thermal insulation, chemical & flame resistance, and corrosion prevention coating, insulates and reduces energy use. This 21st century technology reduces energy consumption, for significant cost savings with short payback. For insulation of pipes, tanks, and equipment, and stands up to harsh environments. This two-part epoxy formula is splash resistant to acids, bases, and fuels, is flame resistant, and also reduces heat transfer. Easily applied with a texture sprayer, trowel or stiff brush while equipment is in-service. Lowers energy consumption, reduces surface temperature for worker safety and lowers heat emitted into the environment by hot equipment.

Applications:

This textured coating is water-based, low odor, and low voc. Insulate surfaces up to 400F/204C, including steam pipes, boilers, valves, heat exchangers, ovens, chilled water pipes, and more. MUST USE EPX NanoPrime™ as a primer at 4-coats (4 mils/100 microns per coat) when applying over metal and non-porous surfaces, and at 1-coat for UV resistance if subject to UV. Product has 2 hour pot life after being mixed.

Product Advantages

What is Nansulate®?
Nansulate® coatings are a patented technology by Industrial Nanotech, Inc. that utilize a nanomaterial with an extremely low thermal conductivity. This material allows the coatings to effectively inhibit heat transfer in a thin layer. This is not a ceramic coating, but rather a unique, patented technology only sold only under the Nansulate® brand name.
