Nansulate® is the next generation of effective, versatile insulation and is particularly well suited for solar energy systems. It is a clear, paintable insulation coating that has been shown to increase the efficiency of solar thermal panels and solar water heater systems.
Universal Energy Group is utilizing Nansulate® Solar on solar hot water heater and solar panel systems to increase heat retention and efficiency of the units. The Stiebel Eltron systems are certified OG300 and qualify for rebate programs in the states of California and Oregon.
The technology behind Nansulate® is a unique micro-sized material with nano-sized internal architecture that inhibits the transfer of heat, causing the material to act as an effective thin insulator with added feature of moisture, mold and corrosion resistance.

Coverage Rate: One gallon covers approximately 150-175 sq ft of surface area with the recommended minimum three coats of Nansulate® required for thermal protection. Actual coverage rate may vary depending on surface texture.
