Products Used: Nansulate Home Protect Clear Coat

Application: Interesting application to a shed housing solar thermal tanks, raw hot water pipes inside the shed. We applied the Clear Coat material to the shed walls.

How It Helped: I found your material and wanted to use a very high tech insulation and did not want to build very thick insulated walls which were recommended by the engineers.Four of us followed your directions and were very careful painting all three coats, especially the first coat. We are now in the curing phase which seems to be going real well. We have temperature sensors on the room and are monitoring them to see the savings over the next few weeks. We will get back to you on that as the savings amount.

Other Comments: This house will be shown as a green test house to various dignitaries, media, etc. Your product will showcased and used in solar thermal installations across the country! We are offering very high tech solar thermal products, not just heat hot waters. Through multiple heat exchangers we offer multi-tasking systems that heat a customers hot water, pools and spas, radiant floor heating, hydronic air handlers, solar air conditioning systems. Some of the panels we sell have stagnation temperatures that are perfect for your products and will actually save the customer money from having to use high heat and high cost industrial insulating materials."

Update #1: "By the way since we completed painting the shed with three coats a week ago we are seeing a gradual increase in the room temperature, at the same time the outside weather has been cooler."

Update #2: "My solar tank storage room with OSB treated walls, with only radiant barrier, and R13 cellulose insulation. After 26 days the room inside temperature right now is 115.60 Degrees with the outside temperature At 59.90 Degrees! Almost double!"
