Industrial Nanotech is a Save Energy Now ALLY organization
Save Energy Now is a national initiative that aims to drive a reduction of 25% or more in industrial energy intensity in 10 years. To achieve this ambitious goal, the Department of Energy Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) is partnering with Save Energy Now LEADER Companies and Save Energy Now ALLY Organizations.
LEADER Companies
Save Energy Now LEADER Companies are U.S. companies that sign a voluntary Pledge to reduce their facilities' energy intensity by 25% in 10 years. ITP helps LEADER Companies achieve their ambitious energy-reduction targets by providing personalized attention, tailored assistance, and priority access to technical and financial resources that will guide them through the critical steps necessary to becoming more energy efficient.
Who Can Participate
Any U.S. industrial corporation, individual manufacturing plant, or company can become a Save Energy Now LEADER—regardless of your current level of energy expertise. If your company is just getting started on energy and carbon use management, look to Save Energy Now to help guide you through the first critical steps of an energy management strategy.
If your company has already invested in energy efficiency and environmental upgrades or your plant has already implemented energy-saving recommendations from a DOE energy assessment, you can gain access to industry-specific expertise to continually improve those accomplishments.
Benefits to Your Company
As a LEADER, you receive tailored assistance with establishing an energy intensity (energy use per unit of output) baseline and developing an energy management plan to meet LEADER requirements.
You will also receive priority access to technical assistance and resources such as plant energy assessments, software tools, and training to find ways to cost-effectively reduce energy use, carbon emissions, and costs while increasing economic viability. And, your company will be nationally recognized by DOE for your commitment to saving energy.
Your company can also call on Save Energy Now ALLY organizations for support. These ITP partners provide expanded resources to help industry meet energy reduction targets.
